Ryūkotsu
translates to “keel”—the structural spine that keeps a vessel steady in shifting waters. It’s a quiet ritual I return to before I design, or when I need to reset. Like Amaterasu’s pause before structure, Ryūkotsu creates the space where clarity can arrive. It’s not about force or intensity. It’s about tuning—getting the system aligned so the work can flow.
Testing Ground
AI tools like v0 changed how quickly I can move from idea to execution. For the first time, I can prototype interactive experiences without heavy engineering overhead. Ryūkotsu became a testing ground—a way to build, iterate, and understand these tools in practice.
Work in progress
Active Development
Currently at version 337 and refining. This is my first time prototyping at this speed—the learning curve has been steep, but clarifying.
SVG animation
Motion test
Exploring lightweight SVG animation to test how far interaction can be pushed without over-engineering. Part of the learning is understanding where code-based motion works and where it doesn’t.
Next Steps
Finishing the remaining graphics and motion details across sections. Mostly refinement now—tightening structure, pacing, and interaction.
More soon.
